Spend the day at Captain Corelli's Beach
Myrtos Bay was arguably the real star of the film Captain Corelli’s
Mandolin. It’s a crescent of white pebbles lapped by turquoise
waters and backed by soaring limestone cliffs. Like most of
Kefalonia’s beaches, it’s geared towards relaxation rather than
full-on activity. You get lots of sunloungers and umbrellas for hire,
plus a cosy beach bar.
